Are you ready? Here we go!
"It's time to start, my dear."
The lady sighed, "It's so hard to say what we're going to. No one will like what we have to say."
"But say it we must." the man replied, "It was our fault, now we must do our best."
"We have to send them all away! That is our only option." one of the counsel members said flatly.
"I can't agree," Another shook her head, "There must be a different way."
"Perhaps they could hide?" Another suggestion was offered.
"How would we be sure they were hidden well enough?"
"I think" One man said softly, "we would do well to listen to our wise friends."
He gestured to the elderly man and woman at the end of the table. They smiled.
"You honor us by calling us wise." the man said.
The woman continued more gravely, "Perhaps you should hear our words, then judge us, wise or not."
"Here is our advice, Issac and Issa must stay where they are. The kingdom needs to see the royal family is still strong."
"Yes, we can't let anyone see my family as weak." the soon-to-be queen agreed.
"We think it would be best if Emily and Emile should live with the teacher, Ms. Hills. There they can learn all about the history of their predicament." The woman said.
The man rejoined, "Eve and Ava should live with the librarian, Mr. Hurst. Learning about who they are and what they must do may give them an advantage."
They paused.
Mrs. Benson looked worried. "What is going to happen to my children? Carly and Carson."
The two of them looked at each other.
"Carson and Carly must be separated." they said together.
The room broke into uproar.
"That's ridiculous! You can't separate a pair!"
"Impossible. They would always try to get back to each other. They're connected." the Dr shook her head.
""The fate of the world may rest on this decision." she turned to the Dr. "You said their connection wouldn't allow it, but don't you know how to alter this?"
Dr. Cabot thought hard, "I might be able to..."
"Ultimately, the decision is up to Mr. and Mrs. Benson." The man said.
Everyone turned to the Bensons, but they looked at each other across the table.
"What right do we have to decide the fate of the worlds?" Mr. Benson said aloud.
"You are the parents." The elderly lady said, "That gives you every right. You may find this harder than you think."
"If we give one of them up and they save the worlds, what are we really giving up?" Mrs. Benson said.
"Alice, Mark, your children look just like you. You can really consider giving them up?"
"I know our children will do great things. If we have to let them go, then so be it." Mr. Benson said bravely.
"Then it's decided. The Shadows will go into hiding."
"Thank you Dr. Cabot. We understand the risk your taking." The older man said.
The Dr. smiled, "We under stand how important it is."
"Remember, it is crucial that she knows nothing until her tenth birthday." The lady reminded.
"Don't worry, I'll regularly send the memories to the other one." Dr. Cabot replied.
9 Years Later
"Margret?" Mr. Cabot whispered.
"You...must promise...to keep...Carly...promise." The Dr. said shakily.
"Please don't talk dear. Of course, I'll care for our twins, but Carly..." Mr. Cabot said.
"Carly! You must... promise..."
"Fine." Mr. Cabot said softly to his wife, "I promise I'll keep Carly."
As soon as he finished speaking, her hand went limp.
"Margret." He sobbed.
She was gone.
"Eve and Ava, and Emily and Emile have all failed. Issa and Issac, and Carly and Carson are the only pairs left."
"The time is coming. We're almost there. Success or failure, the end still comes."
"Quickly, put her here." The lady said, trying to sound calm.
The man was strong, but he still grunted under the weight of the injured girl.
He laid her on the couch, and the other lady began to check her temperature.
"Will she be alright?" the man asked.
"I think so." She nodded, "But now that Issac is gone, Carly and Carson are the only ones left, aside from the Cabot twins. But they're too young, Carson and Carly are our only option."
7 Years Later
"I'm here, Mr. Prince, Mrs. Prince. What did you want to tell me?" Carson asked.
"We think we've found her." Mrs. Prince said.
The boys face changed instantly, becoming dark.
"I know Issac was your friend," Mr. Prince said sympathetically, "And I know losing your parents was hard. We all miss them. But don't punish your sister for your pain. She needs you...and you need her."
"It's time to put our plan into action."
"Whatever comes, I will stand with you."
"And I you." Mrs. Prince smiled
"Forever." They said together.

Haha. Thanks, Katie. Her hair is definitely a lot of work, but I love her. No problem! I'm glad you're enjoying it, and I'm glad you're back. :)

Ok, I just need to take a second to say how jealous I am of Lanie's hair, I mean it's GORGEOUS!!! Sorry it took me so long to read these BTW, I was on vacation last week then was working on a baby shower and pulling a ballet company together this week. The only thing I was really able to keep up with was Instagram (well... kinda XD) but I'm back now and can't wait to read this series! It looks so epic!
-Katie :)
OK, Thanks for the input. I'll see what I can do. :)
Yeah, this is definitely confusing. Maybe you could include a cast list? I mean, you probably intend for this story to be a little confusing, but the characters are very confusing to me. It'll probably get better.
